Privacy Policy

Menu Meta provides an AI dining assistant embedded on restaurant ordering pages. This document explains what we collect and why. A full, lawyer-reviewed policy will replace this page before general availability — until then, the disclosures below reflect the live behaviour of the system.

Diner data

• We set two first-party cookies (wg_vid, wg_sid) to attribute anonymous chat sessions to a device. No name, email or payment information is collected from diners by the chat surface.
• Chat messages are stored to improve the assistant for the restaurant the diner is talking to. They are never sold.
• Page-views and feedback votes are stored as aggregate analytics and are visible only to that restaurant's admins and the Menu Meta operations team.

Restaurant accounts

• Account email, restaurant profile and menu content are stored to operate the product.
• Authentication is handled by our backend provider. Passwords are never visible to Menu Meta staff.
